Dr. Guriqbal Singh Jaiya, Chairman, NASCAP
Dr. Jaiya has over 40 yrs experience in the national and international Civil Services. His Current Role and Responsibilities includes being,
-Chairman, 6-member National Steering Committee (comprising top management of DHIndia) and also oversee the Virtual Working Group of a team of some 140 volunteers which includes Health Informatics and Telemedicine technology professional pan India, as well as some currently based in the USA, the UK, UAE, Australia and Turkey). The virtual team, with a dozen virtual sub-teams, was created at the behest of Chairman, Board of Governors, in supersession of the Medical Council of India) on March 26, 2020 to coordinate the training 5 lakh doctors in India in the shortest possible time (a month if possible) to practice telemedicine as the new Telemedicine Practice Guidelines issued on March 25, 2020 by the MoHFW, NITI AYOG, and BoG (MCI)
-Mentor, I-DAIR international consortium’s project for real time AI driven epidemiology for Chandigarh and Punjab that includes PGIMED, Chandigarh, IIT, Ropar and XLPAT (a patent analytics firm of international standing); international project lead is Amandeep Singh Gill.

Mr. Ghanshyam Dass, Chief Mentor, NASCAP
Mr. Dass has over 40 yrs experience in the corporate and banking sectors. Currently, he is a Senior Advisor at KPMG, India. His core responsibilities include assisting teams to develop and further strengthen core businesses, by maximizing business opportunities, optimizing market synergies across industry sectors.
Currently, he is an Independent Director on the Boards of Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd, Jain Farm Fresh Foods Ltd., Mayar Infrastructure Development Pvt. Ltd., and Mayar Health Resorts Ltd. Powerica Ltd., Member of TiE, ABLE, and BIMACC, Founder Member of AOP, and, Bangalore International Mediation, Arbitration and Conciliation Centre. Vice President of Para Athletics Federation of India and Trustee of The Braj Foundation Advisor on the Abhaya Foundation’s National Advisory Council.
He has had an outstanding career in domestic, international banking and Capital Markets for over 37 years. Mr. Dass has been a significant voice in promoting India and Indian corporate worldwide.
Earlier, he was with NASDAQ-OMX Group as MD, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. He is a former Independent Director on the boards of Dhanlaxmi Bank, Jubilant Industries Ltd , Jubilant Agriculture and Consumer Products Ltd, Avighna India Ltd, Estel Technologies & Communications Ltd. Online Recharge Services, and BQ Padmavathy Finance Academy Private Limited.
He was Special Advisor to STJ Advisors LLP, UK, and Senior Advisor to INTEL Capital
He was also Vice President – Masters Athletic Federation of India, Karnataka Athletics Association, and Organising Committee Member of the Commonwealth Games.
He was the Government Nominee on the Governing Council of ICSI, member of the CII National Council on Corporate Governance and Regulatory framework, CII National Committee on Capital Markets and the Academic Council – Union Bank School of Management.
Dr. Pinaki Ghosh, Secretary General, NASCAP
Dr. Pinaki Ghosh has over 25 years experience in Technology and around 15 years experience in IP and Innovation. Currently, he is a senior Advisor at KPMG, India.He is also IPR Chair Professor at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences.
He has rich experience in legal analysis and research on various patent-related matters.
Earlier, he was visiting faculty at IIT, Kharagpur for Intellectual Property Rights.
He had worked as a scientist in the Indian missile program in the DRDO under the late Abudul Kalam, who subsequently became the President of India.
He was a senior scientist in GE Medical Systems Defense Research (India), and had held managerial position in IP in GE Medical, India (IP and Innovation).
Still earlier, in 2005, as Head of IP in Infosys, he developed and institutionalized several IP guidelines, policies and processes in Infosys.
He has been an in-house IP expert to several large conglomerates, such as GE, IBM, Reliance.
Dr Ghosh is the member of the CII National Committee on Technology and IPR and National Committee of Intellectual Property Owners and the core committee member of IP of CII, FICCI and ASSOCHAM.
Dr Ghosh holds Master Degree in Mathematics from IIT, Kharagpur. His Phd in Image Processing is from Indian Statistical Institute and Jadavpur University. He is also a Post graduate in Patents Law from National Law School, Bangalore. He is pursuing 2nd PhD in Law. He is Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
He is an inventor/owner of 26 patents.
He has published 20 papers in peer reviewed international journals, contributed 2 book chapters, and has made over 50 presentations as an invited speaker in national international IP related conferences.
Dinesh Jotwani, Director General, NASCAP
Dinesh Jotwani has over 25 years of experience of law, technology and litigation with a focus on cyber law and IPR laws.
Since 2015, he is Co-managing Partner at Jotwani Associates LLP since 2015 which is a multi- specialist Law Firm based in New Delhi, India. It has diverse practice areas such as Government Relations, Intellectual Property, Corporate Law, Litigation, Real Estate, and Immigration. The firm enables it’s clients to achieve their business and personal goals.
He holds two US Patents on e-discovery processes (7831544 & 8380687) used in litigation/ investigation.
He has authored a book “Interface between Competition Law and IPRs: A global perspective,” published by GIIP (2012).
Earlier, he has been an in-house Counsel, Partner in Law Firms and also an Independent Consultant to several technology companies, such as NCR Corporation, Techorneys LLP, Microsoft, Symantec and Evalueserve Pvt Ltd.
He has held executive positions in trade coalitions such as Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, The Indian Legal Foundation (earlier called NBAI Foundation) and Business Software Alliance.
Mr. Jotwani is an Honours Graduate in Economics–University of Delhi (BA, 1991), a post-graduate in Information Technology & Software Development – NIIT (1992) and holds a degree in law (LLB), University of Delhi.(1994).
Dabru Anand, Director General, NASCAP
Mr. Dabru Anand has nearly 28 years of working in corporate investigation, Intellectual Property, User profile Cases. Trade name. Specialist in conducting Trademark and Copyright infringement investigation, IPR related investigation, Patents theft, Due Diligence, Geographical Indication, Common Law and had conducted numerous anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy criminal raid operation and helped the companies to extract the economic losses due to Brand Damage Mr. Dabru had brought several issues before large conglomerates, such as FICCI, CII, ASSOCHAM, DIPP, which plays prime role in restricting anti- counterfeiting and anti-piracy fight to stop Infringement in offensive strategy.
Conducting raid is not his prime mission than with help of his Artificial Intelligence, due diligence of counterfeiter completes more meaningful information to be applied and predictive analysis team to file injunction and damage claim from counterfeiters.
Prime mission for safety of a brand for him to create TERROR amoung counterfeiter, without disturbing the brand value, brand image, in the market.
Had attended lots of meeting to bring the value awareness of Brand Valuation and Economic losses due to brand image deterioration. Customer Expectation Dilemma Time Performance Expectations Continuous Improvement Performance Gap.
Dabru Anand in many of the meeting and conferences had tried to bring awareness of sub-standard rating procedure and moves on combating counterfeiting. Hindrances faced in taking action against giving.
