Copyright is packaged with rights which is restricted with the owner of copyright which can be exercised by the owner or any person the owner pursue license .These rights include right of adaptation, right of reproduction, right of publication, right to make translations, communication to public etc

Copyright protection includes on lirally musical cinema sound recorording or dramatic work where work is genuine and not copied from other sources. the moment a work is created, Copyright protection commences and its registration is optional

COPYRIGHT OWNER :

The creator of the work or the author is the copyright holder . an employer can also become a copyright holder in exceptions in circumstances where work is created during the tenure of employment

REGISTRATION OF COPYRIGHT :

The registration formality of copyright is simple .It is necessary to do a registration in case the work has been created by a person other than an employeeit is necessary to sign an agreement with an assignment deed.

COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENTS :

Under section 63 of the Copyright Act a person who infringes the copyright is punishable by criminal offence by the copyright owner. The copyright owner is entitled to remedies by way of injunctions, damages and accounts
